2012-2016

I earned a PhD in Computer Science with a focus on Computer Vision from the University of Vienna, where I was supervised by Univ-Prof Dr Otmar Scherzer.
During my PhD studies I was a member of the Computational Science Center (CSC).
In my thesis I investigated Variational models of visual attention with a special focus on dynamic sequences.
2011-2012

I was a Research Associate for the SMILE Project, a University of Naples Spin-off.
My responsibilities included:

- Creation of an uncalibrated eye-tracker ,
- Developing the City & Bus application for iOS,
- Coaching Master degree students.
2008-2011

I obtained an MSc in Computer Science from University Federico II of Naples. My master's thesis was on "Uncalibrated eye-tracking system using Machine Learning for the prediction of the Point of Gaze" and was primarily supervised by Univ-Prof Dr Francesco Isgrò. Prior to my master's studies I graduated with a BSc in Computer Science.
